About the Event
Many employers regularly use artificial intelligence and automated systems to make employment decisions such as hiring and firing. Some of these tools include resume scanners, chatbots, and video interviews. However, many of these tools have the potential to create unlawful bias. The EEOC has created an initiative, "Navigating Employment Discrimination in AI & Automated systems: A New Civil Rights Frontier," to evaluate whether these tools comply with federal and civil rights laws. This training will help you understand how the systems you are using may be violating State and Federal laws.
